Leland, the company, began in 1965 when George Stanford and Carl Sollmann left their career jobs at Kidde Manufacturing. At that time, Kidde made cream whippers and seltzer bottles. Both Sollmann and Stanford knew they could do it better.
Although the history of pressure devices goes beyond 1900, Lelands founders developed a company capable of being a recognized leader in the beverage and restaurant industries soon enough. Their secret is still used today . . . its being honest with customers and open minded to product improvement. The rest is history.
Today, Leland is a world leader in disposable gas cylinders and the related technologies. You can purchase products with confidence, knowing that we are standing behind them 100%. |
